IDT 8600: Seminar in IDT Research

Welcome! to IDT 8600 – Seminar in IDT Research. In this course, you develop a proposal for a scholarly endeavor that influences a contemporary, complex problem in the field of instructional design and technology. For this class, you may choose to further develop or redevelop the evaluation plan initially designed for the instructional design project created across IDT 8060, 8070, 8080, and 8090. You may also choose to develop a research plan derived from a review of literature written in previous IDT courses. This proposal needs to be developed around a problem of practice in the field and based upon what the student hopes to pursue their dissertation research. He or she may use a quantitative, quantitative, or mixed method approach. This is a two part course in which chapters 1,2, and 3 of a dissertation proposal is developed.
