Grant Writing Terminology
Let’s begin by looking at the most basic terms associated with the grant writing process.
A grant proposal is a written document that is prepared and submitted to apply for funding.
A grant writer is the individual or team that prepares the proposal.
The funder is the government, foundation, corporation, or individual to whom the proposal is submitted and funds are received.
